We have a few preparatory documents to check out and refer to periodically throughout the season. They are included in the links below. The first is a general overview of some good concepts which mostly apply to coaching in general but with examples that apply to Hockey. The second is to help with Hockey specific practice plan execution. The last are instructions for how to use the practice plans which are provided below.
As an Orono Mite Coach, it is important that you take the time to familiarize yourself with these three documents.

Selected Drill Diagrams (Note that each of these shows a diagram that is applicable to drills within our practice plans, however the specific drill described may not be the drill that you are looking for from your plan. In that case, pay attention to the diagram as these are intended to help you get the drills set up.)

Line Drills Set Up (This document is specific to “footspeed” line drills, but is still illustrates how we set up for line drills in general.)
Multi-cone Edges (This document is specfic to useing this set up for power turns, but we often do inside or outside edges off of this exact set up as well.)
