A Typical Off-Ice Training Session

A typical Competitive Edge off-ice training session runs for 60 to 90 minutes and consists of three 30-minute training stations or two 30 to 45 minute stations.

At Competitive Edge, we specialize in offering customized small group, team, and 1-on-1 or 2-on-1 training programs. We work with you to prepare the best developmental plan for your skills, abilities, and goals.

Our programs reinforce quality repetitions through individualized professional instruction (even in small group and team settings) within a positive and challenging environment.

Not only that, we provide flexible scheduling. Sign up for a time that works best for you.

Typical Sessions Include:

Bullet Treadmill

The Bullet Treadmill has unique features that you won’t find on any other skating treadmills. These features set it apart from all other hockey treadmills on the market. Read more about our revolutionary Bullet Skating Treadmill.

Hand Skills Studio

Our hand skills studio is a synthetic ice area dedicated to building solid puckhandling, skating and shooting techniques and making them automatic enough to be used while multitasking during any game situation. Check out the many benefits of our Hand Skills Studio.

Stride Synergy Hockey Athleticism

We also feature private training on exercises that support hockey athleticism, strength endurance, body awareness, and explosiveness that set the table for an excellent Hockey Skating Stride.

Review our FAQs Page

It is very helpful, if you aren’t overly familiar with Competitive Edge training, to review our FAQs page in advance of your next session.  One of our specific FAQs pages offers a guide to putting on the Safety Harness for the Bullet Treadmill.  Reviewing this allows you to do this yourself before your session, maximizing time during the session that will be used for training.
